The official store of the NBA G League corrected a gaffe on the replica version of Kai Sotto’s G-League Ignite jersey which can be purchased online.

A look at the G-League’s online shop already shows the jersey with the correct spelling of the 7-foot-3 youngster’s surname, a day after the mistake made rounds on social media.

Sotto’s surname was spelled “Soto” shortly after the replica of the Ignite uniforms were made available on the NBA developmental league’s online shop.

The replica jersey of Sotto costs $59.99 which is equivalent to P2,900 and is available in five sizes (small, medium, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL).

It is still unknown as to when Sotto will get to wear the real version since he is slated to suit up for Gilas Pilipinas in the third window of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers later this month.

Once he completes his quarantine period, Sotto will be allowed to join Gilas’ training bubble at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna.

By joining Gilas, Sotto will miss the first part of the Ignite’s campaign in the G-League bubble in Orlando, Florida, and it is still unknown as to how many games the 18-year-old native of Las Pinas City will play once he completes his Gilas duties.
