Defending champion San Miguel Beer regained its three-point shooting in a timely manner to complete a come-from-behind 89-82 victory over Meralco in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.

The Beermen made five threes in the fourth quarter as they were able to overturn a 69-60 deficit at the end of the third on their way to stretching their winning streak to three games ahead of Friday’s marquee game against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.

Alex Cabagnot hit all nine of his 13 points from the three-point arc during the payoff period while Mo Tautuaa topscored with 23 points and Arwind Santos posting his fifth double-double this season after posting 17 points and 11 rebounds as SMB improved to 4-2.
