CLARK FREEPORT–Even with the hectic schedule inside the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) bubble, coaches are finding time to keep their body in shape.

Meralco head coach Norman Black bared he is exercising on the stationary bike or treadmill when the Bolts are having their workout at the Equinox Fitness Center inside the Quest Hotel.

Black said he even brought his own dumbbells and has been doing extra work in his room.

“Working out is just part of my DNA. I’m gonna do that no matter where I am,” said the 11-time champion mentor.

Alaska coach Jeffrey Cariaso and NLEX tactician Yeng Guiao have also been hitting the gym during the allotted schedule for their teams.

“We actually use that time to improve ourselves as well,” said Cariaso.

Coach Leo Austria of the five-time Philippine Cup champion San Miguel said he is doing a daily jog while Barangay Ginebra mentor Tim Cone said he has been swimming everyday since coming to the four-star hotel at the heart of the Mimosa Plus Estate.
